....... is blowing something rotten, a proper May blow.
We get this wind every few years and it burns the young growth and I fear for the new garden.
It is not too cold but the fine sand and the salt in the wind do the damage.
We will see.

We had a gale last week and I feared for my plants. Fortunately most seemed to survive but I'm glad I forestalled on putting out the flower tubs. It was a salutory warning that summer is not quite here - sigh.
The Northerly is still with us ... the windows are covered in sand ..... the peony foliage is wrecked and we have lit the fire. So much for summer .......
We're OK in H.O.- not that I'd notice if we weren't....
