A modest triumph for Mundesley ...

Again we have been awarded the Blue Flag for the beach which is good news for the swimmers and surfers. 



The tree lupin is flowering on the cliff in some profusion.


 I have no idea why it grows on the Cromer side of the beach but not on the cliffs where I normally walk and so I made a point of going to look for them.

I was a bit concerned 'cos I heard that Lowestoft had theirs removed due to excess bacteria in the water as a result of the storm drain run-off from the wet weather last summer.

Most of the beaches which lost Blue Flag status suffered from last summer`s horrid weather .... Mundesley has Lucky Geography, plainly!
