a cuttlefish is a marine animal of the order Sepiida belonging to the cephalopoda class
And Squids are marine cephalopods of the order Teuthida
In Italy, the dish is Risotto al Nero di Seppia (lit. black Cuttlefish rice)
In Ireland, a popular dish is called "cuttle chips" *ha ha* consists of deep fried cuttlefish covered in Cajun mayonnaise and shredded cheddar. Piled on top of the cheese are ground beef, tomato, peppers, onions, and various seasonings.
Ian, I happen to enjoy the top of your head, and we enjoy your endless capacity for instant research. You do the stuff about which we are too idle. I`m not entirely sure that we will attempt the Irish cuisine. xxxxxxxxxx
But, Rod, on the fish van, doesn`t do cuttlefish so we would have to do it with squid which sounds like cheating to me. And I`m not convinced about the beef either. Surf`n`turf gone mad?

Just to leave my tuppennyworth... cuttlefish have hard shells and squid are soft bodied. I imagine the black in black cuttlefish would be the ink.
