Low tide and the sand is back.

The first coltsfoot of the season is flowering, at last a real sign of spring.

The tin can was a bit of flotsam, or is it jetsam? Either way, from the label the contents were painted on a ship's bottom.

A nice little linguistic puzzle thank you!
"In maritime law, flotsam applies to wreckage or cargo left floating on the sea after a shipwreck. Jetsam applies to cargo or equipment thrown overboard from a ship in distress and either sunk or washed ashore."
So unless the ship sank, I reckon your tin must be jetsam!
Good to see the coltsfoot.
