The Sand Martins are back.

The sand martins were flying around in the sunshine, too fast for a pic, will try to catch them when they start nesting. It has been a glorious warm day, with very little wind, the sea is still a bit choppy after the rough weather we have had over the last few days.
This little plant is called Spring Beauty and grows on the cliff bottom among the nettles. I think you can eat it in salads but it is well protected by the stinging nettles.

Claytonia perfoliata, pretty! Such a heavenly spring day today. We opted for the garden so I'm glad you posted today to keep me in touch with the beach!
