...... or playing in the sea after school. I think wetsuits must be quite warm, so I am thinking I should get one for walking on the beach.

I heard on the Radio today about some "Extreme Sportsman" chap who was in the news as he'd been snowing off a beach during the snow. Er - clearly the reporters haven't been to your area where that is a regular occurrence!
We have some very hardy souls down here who will try to surf regardless of weather or waves.
