Big slump and little slump.














       All the rain we have had has got to the cliffs and given them " that sinking feeling".
 The name for this type of slippage is  slumping which seems reasonable as only the top vegetation is sliding off. 
The cliffs are only overgrown sand dunes after all.

I am sorry to see that you had this problem! It happened to us too and then I discovered that there is an engineer-plant named Vetiver zizanioides (Linn.) which has very deep roots (5m, I believe!)and so keeps the banks still. I hope you’ll solve your inconvenient soon.
