We do not have rock pools......

... but we do have sand pools.

They do not seem to have any wildlife in them, so no shrimps or small fish that I have ever seen.

Barnacles and mussels on the top of one of the uprights of the groynes, a pretty pattern.

Time for a wash and brush up.

As the holidays come to an end the birds are coming back to the beach.

I know it is still August but the season is changing and it just feels different.

I am looking forward to the autumn and many more warm days.
