A peacock butterfly in the morning sun.

A pair of mallard ducks came to visit. They were in the stream until I went out with the camera, they then dashed up the bank to greet me. The drake found the gravel a bit hard on his feet and with no food on offer they headed back to the water. They live on the mill pond just over the road from me and come to feed in the stream most years.

The ladybirds are still with us.

It really is a bit much, as wherever you look or walk you cannot avoid them and I can safely say there are no greenfly left in North Norfolk.

The peacock butterflies are flitting about looking handsome; always a joy.
